Using AI Copilot to Build & Edit Your Funnel
The AI Copilot is a chat-based assistant built into the funnel builder. You can type natural language commands to edit your funnel, and the copilot will make the changes in real time. It can also generate entire funnels from a description. This article covers both use cases.
Opening the AI Copilot
- Open any funnel in the builder.
- Click the Copilot toggle button in the top bar. A chat sidebar slides open on the right.
- Type your request and press Enter. The copilot processes your message and applies changes directly to the canvas.
The copilot works on all builder tabs. You can use it to edit form steps, change styling, update landing page content, and more.
What the Copilot Can Do
The copilot can handle a wide range of editing tasks:
Form Editing
- Add, remove, or reorder steps
- Add fields to any step (e.g., "add a phone field to step 3")
- Update step headlines, subheadlines, and button text
- Change field labels, placeholders, and validation settings
- Set up conditional routing (e.g., "if they select 'No', skip to the thank you step")
- Configure option icons and button layouts
Styling
- Change colors for buttons, backgrounds, text, and borders
- Update fonts, font sizes, and text alignment
- Customize the progress indicator style and colors
- Adjust input field styling (border radius, background, focus colors)
- Style option buttons (hover states, selected states, radio indicators)
Landing Page
- Add or edit headlines, text blocks, and other page elements
- Change landing page background color and font
- Update header and footer content
- Change the page layout (single column or two-column)
Bulk Changes
For large-scale edits like converting a funnel to a different industry or rebuilding the entire quiz flow, the copilot can replace all steps at once. Try prompts like "rebuild this as a solar panel lead quiz" or "convert this funnel to target mortgage leads."

Building a Complete Funnel with AI
You can also have AI create an entire funnel from scratch, without starting from a template:
- Go to the Templates page.
- Click the Build with AI Copilot card.
- Describe the funnel you want. Be specific about the number of steps, the questions to ask, and the industry.
- Optionally select an industry for more tailored copy.
- Click Generate and wait for the AI to build your funnel. A progress animation shows each step being created.
- Once complete, you are taken to the builder to review and customize the result.
Optimizing Copy with AI
You can also use AI to improve individual text fields in the builder:
- Look for the sparkle icon next to text fields (headlines, subheadlines, button text).
- Click the sparkle icon to open the optimization modal.
- The AI generates three optimized variations of your existing text.
- Pick the one you like, or refine with follow-up instructions.
Undoing Copilot Changes
Every copilot response that modifies your funnel includes an Undo button. Click it to revert the changes from that specific message. This only undoes the copilot's most recent set of changes, so you can experiment freely.
Conversation Persistence
Your copilot conversations are saved automatically. If you close the browser and come back later, your chat history will still be there. To start a fresh conversation, click the clear chat option in the sidebar.
Free Generations and Credits
Every plan includes free AI generations per month. The copilot chat, copy optimization, and full funnel builds all draw from the same free generation pool. When your free generations run out, each feature uses credits from your credit balance. You can see your remaining free generations in the sidebar under "Copilot Gens."
Pro Tips
- One change at a time. The copilot works best with focused, specific requests. Instead of "redesign everything," try "change the headline color to black" followed by "make the buttons larger."
- Be specific. "Change the step 2 headline to Are You a Homeowner?" works better than "update the text."
- Save regularly. Copilot changes live in the builder until you save. Click Save after making changes you want to keep.
- The copilot can also answer lead generation questions. Try asking "What is a good conversion rate for insurance funnels?" and it will provide advice based on industry benchmarks.
