Exporting & Deleting Leads

LeadCapture makes it easy to export your lead data for use in other tools or to clean up your account by deleting leads you no longer need.

Exporting Leads

You can download your leads as a CSV file from the Leads page. The export includes all captured data for each lead: names, email, phone, form responses, verification statuses, scores, timestamps, and the funnel that captured them.

How to Export

  1. Go to Leads in the left sidebar.
  2. Optionally, use the filters to narrow down to a specific funnel or status before exporting.
  3. Click the Export button above the table.
  4. A CSV file will be generated and downloaded to your computer.

The export respects any active filters. If you have filtered to a specific funnel, only that funnel's leads will be included. To export everything, make sure all filters are cleared.

What Is Included in the Export

Each row in the CSV represents one lead. The columns include:

  • Lead number and unique ID
  • First name, last name, and display name
  • Email address and email verification status
  • Phone number and phone verification status
  • All custom form field responses
  • Activity Score and Lead Quality Score
  • Lead status (Captured, Delivered, Failed, Disqualified)
  • Funnel name
  • Capture timestamp
  • IP address and landing page URL
  • Whether it was a partial lead

Deleting a Single Lead

  1. Find the lead in the leads table.
  2. Click the Delete icon (trash can) in the Actions column for that lead.
  3. A confirmation modal will appear asking you to confirm. Click Delete to proceed.

You can also delete a lead from the Lead Detail page by clicking the Delete button in the header.

Automatic Data Retention

Lead records are retained based on your plan:

Plan Lead Retention Period
Starter 180 days
Growth 365 days
Max 5 years

Leads older than your plan's retention period are automatically deleted. Export your data regularly if you need to keep long-term records beyond your plan's retention window.

Good to Know

  • Deleting a lead is permanent and cannot be undone. Export first if you think you might need the data later.
  • Deleting a lead does not affect your monthly lead count for the current billing period.
  • Deleted leads are removed from webhook delivery logs and analytics will not be retroactively adjusted.
  • If you need to delete leads in bulk, export the data first for your records, then contact support for assistance with bulk deletion.
