AI Intelligence Chat: Ask Questions About Your Data

AI Intelligence Chat is a floating chat widget available on every page of your dashboard. Ask questions about your account data, get lead generation advice, or request recommendations, and receive answers informed by both your account metrics and LeadCapture's built-in knowledge base.

Where to Find It

Look for the chat bubble icon in the bottom-right corner of any dashboard page. Click it to expand the chat window.

What You Can Ask

Questions About Your Data

The AI has access to your funnel analytics, lead counts, conversion rates, and step-level metrics. Ask questions like:

• "What is my overall conversion rate this month?"
• "Which funnel is performing best?"
• "Where are most visitors dropping off in my insurance quiz?"
• "How many leads did I capture last week?"

Lead Generation Advice

The AI draws from a curated knowledge base of lead generation best practices. Ask questions like:

• "What is a good conversion rate for mortgage lead forms?"
• "How many steps should my funnel have?"
• "What are the best practices for phone verification on lead forms?"
• "Should I use a landing page or just embed the form?"

Recommendations

Combine your data with best practices by asking for personalized recommendations:

• "How can I improve the conversion rate on my solar lead quiz?"
• "What should I change about Step 2 to reduce drop-offs?"
• "Is my email verification rate normal?"

How It Works

When you send a message, the AI:

1. Searches the knowledge base for relevant articles and best practices.
2. Pulls your live account data (funnels, analytics, lead quality metrics).
3. Generates a response that combines expert knowledge with your specific numbers.

Responses may include citations from knowledge base articles when the answer draws from specific sources.

Plan Availability

Each chat message uses your free AI generation pool (shared with Build with AI and AI Copy Generation). When free generations are exhausted, credits are consumed from your pooled balance.

Chat in the Builder (AI Copilot)

In addition to the dashboard chat widget, the funnel builder has a separate AI Copilot sidebar where you can ask both knowledge questions and give instructions to edit your funnel ("change the headline color to blue," "add a phone field to Step 2"). The Copilot sidebar is a more powerful tool for building and optimizing funnels in real time. See the "AI Copilot" section of the builder documentation for more details.

Good to Know

• The chat widget stays open as you navigate between dashboard pages. Your conversation is preserved.
• The AI uses your last 30 days of analytics data when answering questions about performance.
• All conversations are private to your account. Your questions and data are never shared with other users.
• If the AI cannot find enough data to answer your question, it will let you know and suggest alternative approaches.
• Knowledge base answers improve over time as LeadCapture's team curates new content based on common user questions.
