Everflow: capture affiliate transaction IDs and post conversions back
Connect your Everflow network so that when a lead converts on your funnel, we tell Everflow which affiliate click it came from. Your affiliates get credited automatically, straight from our servers.
Why use it
- Credit your affiliates automatically. We capture the Everflow click ID (the transaction ID) when the visitor lands, and post the conversion back to Everflow when the lead comes in. The right affiliate gets the credit without any manual reconciliation.
- Reliable, server to server. The conversion is sent from our servers to Everflow, so it is not lost to ad blockers, browser privacy settings, or a pixel that fails to load.
- Optional payout value. You can send a value with each conversion (a fixed amount or the lead's score), so your Everflow reporting and payouts reflect lead quality, not just count.
How it works
- An affiliate sends traffic through their Everflow tracking link.
- Everflow redirects the visitor to your LeadCapture funnel with the click ID on the URL, for example ?transaction_id=abc123.
- The visitor fills out your form and becomes a lead.
- We fire a conversion postback to Everflow with that transaction ID, turning the click into a conversion.
Before you start
- An Everflow account with admin access (you are the advertiser or network).
- Your Everflow Network ID and tracking domain.
- The Everflow offer whose destination is your LeadCapture funnel or landing page.
Step 1: Pass the transaction ID to your page (in Everflow)
For us to capture the click, Everflow needs to add its transaction ID to your funnel's URL.
- In Everflow, open the offer whose destination is your LeadCapture funnel.
- In the offer's destination URL, add the transaction ID using Everflow's macro. For example:
https://yourdomain.com/p/your-funnel?transaction_id={transaction_id}
- Save the offer.
Everflow replaces {transaction_id} with the real click ID on every visit, so each visitor arrives at your funnel with their own transaction_id on the URL. If you prefer to name the parameter something other than transaction_id, that is fine, just remember the name for Step 3.
Step 2: Connect Everflow in LeadCapture
-
Go to Settings > Integrations.
Find Everflow and enter:
- Network ID: your Everflow network ID.
- Tracking Domain: your Everflow tracking domain (for example yournetwork.everflowclient.io).
- Verification Token (optional): only if you have enabled Everflow's secure (signed) postback.
- API Key (optional): not required for conversions.
- Save.
You only do this once. The connection is shared across all of your funnels.
Step 3: Turn it on for a funnel
- Open the funnel in the builder and go to the Settings tab.
- Find Everflow (affiliate) and switch it on.
- Transaction ID parameter: leave this as transaction_id unless you named the macro differently in Step 1.
- Conversion event ID (optional): enter an Everflow adv_event_id if you want to record a specific conversion goal. Leave it blank for the offer's default conversion.
- Conversion value (optional): No value, Use lead score, or Fixed value. "Use lead score" requires Lead Scoring to be set up on the funnel.
- Save and publish your funnel.
From now on, leads on that funnel that came from an Everflow click are reported back to Everflow automatically.
When the conversion fires
- On lead submission.
- Only when the visitor actually arrived with a transaction ID (a real affiliate click). A direct visit with no transaction ID does not fire a postback, by design, so you are never crediting a click that did not happen.
- Disqualified leads and leads with no email or phone are not reported.
Verifying it is working
- Open your published funnel with a test click ID in the URL, for example https://yourdomain.com/p/your-funnel?transaction_id=TEST123.
- Submit a test lead.
- In Everflow, check your conversion report for the test conversion. It should show the transaction ID you used.
Your data and privacy
The postback sends the transaction ID, an order reference (our internal lead ID), and, if you set one, the conversion value. We do not send your lead's name, email, or phone to Everflow in the postback.
