LeadProsper Automap: Connect Funnels in Minutes
LeadProsper Automap connects your LeadCapture forms, funnels, and quizzes to LeadProsper without hand-copying campaign IDs, supplier IDs, LP keys, or field specs.
You paste your LeadProsper Developer API key once. LeadCapture pulls in your campaigns, suppliers, LP keys, and campaign fields. You map each LeadProsper field to a LeadCapture source, then save and test.
Before you start
You'll need:
- A LeadProsper account with at least one campaign and supplier set up.
- Your LeadProsper Developer API key (Account / profile icon → Developer).
- A LeadCapture funnel (or form / quiz) with the fields you want to send.
Tip: Keep your LeadProsper Supplier API Specs open while you map. Phone, date of birth, and state formats must match what LeadProsper expects, or the post can fail.
Connect LeadProsper
- Open your funnel in the LeadCapture builder.
- Go to the Lead Delivery tab.
- Find the LeadProsper section and turn on Enable LeadProsper Integration.
- Paste your LeadProsper Developer API Key.
- Click Load campaigns.
- Choose your Campaign from the dropdown.
- Choose your Supplier. The lp_key fills in automatically.
Optional toggles:
- Use LeadProsper redirect URL: After submit, send the visitor to the thank-you / redirect URL returned by the buyer who purchased the lead. View the updated help doc if you plan to use dynamic redirect: https://docs.leadcapture.io/article/357-leadprosper-dynamic-redirects
- Dynamic Supplier ID from URL: Read the supplier ID from a URL parameter instead of using a fixed supplier.
Map your fields
Scroll to Field Mapping.
- Left column: LeadProsper Field (pulled from the campaign).
- Right column: Source (your LeadCapture funnel field, a static value, or skip).
For each LeadProsper field:
- Open the Source dropdown.
- Pick the matching LeadCapture field.
- If a Format dropdown appears (phone, date of birth, state), choose the format LeadProsper requires.
Address fields (Google Autocomplete)
LeadCapture can use a single Address field with Google Address Autocomplete. LeadProsper usually wants separate street, city, state, and zip fields.
You do not need to add separate address fields in your funnel. In the Source dropdown, pick your Address field, then choose the component:
- Address → Street
- Address → City
- Address → State
- Address → Postal Code
LeadCapture splits the autocomplete address into those parts for you.
Phone, date of birth, and state formats
When you map these fields, use Format so the value matches LeadProsper:
- Phone: for example E.164, or a standard US 10-digit number without a leading country code.
- Date of birth: for example
YYYY-MM-DDorMM/DD/YYYY. - State: full name (California) or abbreviated (CA).
Always match the Supplier API Specs for that campaign.
Option values (buttons / multiple choice)
If a LeadProsper field expects a code (like 1 , 2 , 3 ) but your funnel shows labels (like Whiplash, Back/Spinal Injury):
- Map the Source field as usual.
- Click Map option values.
- Enter the backend value next to each front-end option.
If you leave a backend value blank, LeadCapture sends the button text as written.
Static values and skipped fields
In any Source dropdown you can also:
- Enter a static value...: send a fixed value every time (for example a fixed
sub_id). - Skip (don't send): do not include that LeadProsper field in the post.
Save and test
- Click Save at the bottom of the LeadProsper settings.
- Submit a real test through the live funnel.
- In LeadCapture, open Leads in the left sidebar.
- Click the test lead.
- Expand LeadProsper Deliveries.
- Check Payload Data (what was sent) and Response Body (what LeadProsper returned).
A clean Response Body with no error codes means the lead posted successfully.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | What to check |
|---|---|
| Campaigns won't load | Confirm the Developer API key is correct and has access to that LeadProsper account. |
| Lead rejected by LeadProsper | Open Supplier API Specs and verify phone, DOB, and state formats. Check option values if you mapped buttons. |
| Address parts are blank | Map each component from the Address field (City, State, Postal Code), not only the full address. |
| Wrong option posted | Use Map option values and set the backend codes LeadProsper expects. |
| Need to see the raw post | Lead detail → LeadProsper Deliveries → Payload Data and Response Body. |
